6months old

It's pretty hard to believe but my little boy is growing up...Pretty quickly. He's gonna be 1/2 a year old in 14 days time. We had an appointment with the doctor today, to check on his growth and development. He weighs 7.945kgs and is 70cm tall. He has outgrown the weighing scale- his calves and feet jut out of the scale.

He can sit up unsupported for quite a while, he rolls over whenever he gets the opportunity; so now i m busier tjan ever cuz i cant leave him alone at all, not even in his sleep cuz he tends to roll while sleepin too!
He is not afraid of strangers :) that's one thing I used to worry about because he isn't exposed to many people but when he is, he doesn't mind being held by them at all.. It's getting harder for me to lift him so most of the time we are on his playroom's mat rolling and trying to crawl. Yes! He is starting to crawl- he lifts his upper body up by extending his arms and is able to push his butt up with his feet... I can't tell u how excited I was the first time he did it :)

He's been on semi solids for about two months now and seems to accept almost everything I feed him.
So far he has had a taste of the following:
Avocados, Applesauce, Apricot
Bananas, Blueberries
Cereal, Corn
Mangoes
Pears, potatoes

He falls asleep between 830-9pm and wakes again at 6am :)
Enjoys his bathtime, splashes about in the water ( sonia- Unlike before, i don't have to warm/steam up the bathroom anymore hee)

He is really fond of his father. He can't seem to take his eyes off him and everything Alvin does amuses him :)
I believe his first word will be - papa/dada
He is a good and cheerful boy and I can't thank god enough for having blessed us with him...

We're looking forward to our summer break as we'll be returning to Singapore for a month and my parents will me holding his mundan / tonsuring ceremony there. Laxmi Narayan temple is booked for the 26th of July , invites will be given in due course;)
