Down on Diwali

My first diwali after my wedding...first diwali away and sadly, i had no one dear ro celebrate it with. Of cuz i am thankful that my sis was here but it really didnt feel like it was a festival so my dear neighbour suggested a potluck and yeah i went ahead with it and invited hmm...

All annobovians- Serene, Fayvier, Kimberly, May then the rest like Jae, Emily, May toon, lenny, christine, victoria and some of their husbands who werent sailing...
so the table was lined with noodle w/ mushroom and mincedmeat, rice, butter chicken, Beehoon, cream pasta w/ chicken, chicken nugget,chocolate eclairs, ham and cheese omlette, choc eclairs with vanilla sauce, almond fish --believe it or not this was my first non vegetarian deepavali!

At least the presence of the guests prevented me from thinking and feeling miserable about not being with my loved ones...
thank you guys for being here on such short notice..i really apreciated it ;)

Then after everyone left, serene, fayvier my sis n i did a bit of cleanin up and then started playing scrabble and jenga! and we continued on to move our game to Fayviers home cuz cayden,her baby had to have his feed and sleep!at about 245am, we returned in the numbing cold, back home...at a temp of -0.2 degrees! we were totally frozen!
after that the flue and fever that i had became worst... :( and I couldnt wait to see my darling husband after a week!
