The preps & Mangalsutra

Mum and I had gone to the temple and then to look out for stuff for my wedding....I mean i only have like about 3 months i need to really get it rolling! SO yeah we went to a goldsmiths' and i picked out my mangalsutra :) simple and unique something i can wear daily after the wedding! When i brought it home, i was like admiring it all the time :) i dunno but it holds alot of importance to me now as i am buying these things and reading about what it symbolizes :)

So yeah then we went on to selegie and checked out the imitation jewellery.Saw one at MKM for 250 nothing unusual ...but better than the one they carried previously.There was one which stood out from the rest and it cost 35o with just the eatting, necklace and maangtikka. if i wanted the full set, i had to place an order with the shop owner who would be goin to india to get it for me... Hmmm i also saw a devdas set for $420. Was really nice, inticrate and traditional but i wasnt all happy with it. So i took her name card and told her i'd call...

I think i might as well order one online...they have so many more than what singapore offers :P
So yeah still thinking on that one. I emailed a website and they told me to wait 2 weeks after which they will launch their bridal collection and i can shop online...so am keeping my fingers crossed...will post again once i see them

For alvin's Sherwani and mojari, i looked in sheetals but didnt see anythin nice... so we went down to selegie and there is this A1 shop there which has a great variety of sherwanis and mojaris...prices are reasonable too...cant wait to go shopping with FH to pick out his attire...

Well i was looking thru the SGbrides forum and came across this thread just for indian brides...it makes things alot more easier. They post alot of details and contacts there. so yeah i m always reading to keep myself updated!

Finally alvin has managed to do the tamil typesetting for our wedding cards...have sent it to his sis and cuz for proof reading should be on its way to getting printed soon! Just FYI i had my hindi and english text all done up say 2 months ago! :P

Deco- Khalsa seems to provide deco but alvin's frend does it too and i really feel that his works are very elegant and classy yet to check out khalsa. Mandap seems to be a problem...but by hook or by crook we gotta get one...

Guestlist-has close to 400 people...still adding and getting stressed

PG- i came across one kenneth leong from tsangstudios...i really like his works...will have to consult FH on this one...

VG-No idea

HEnna- Got a lady from s'goon but still thinking

MUA- Probably will get shanti from sylemart, will have to go for trial first to see if i like it...trial is at 80 bucks.... its all abt the money!!!..... hmmm what else? (scratching head)
