Spring Cleaning
Its that time of the year again when we have to start cleaning all the dust and grime accumulated over the months since the last Diwali...Obviousy there is much more to clean than just that. There are old unwanted things that we have been saving for the past fe wyears and each Diwali tell ourselves that no...perhaps this will come to use some day.But that day never seems to come..so this Diwali, i helped wipe out many such things from my parents place so they have a easier time cleaning next Diwali. We've cleaned our storeroom, my room and the prayer room and kitchen.Just left with the Hall, mum's room and the 2 toilets. It sure was a very tiring affair. We started with the storeroom at 10am and finished the kitchen only at 6pm.
I will definitely miss this time of the year, next year... There will be that excitement of celebrating it with my lawfully wedded husband once i am traditionally married which i believe is kinda round the corner...but then again i'll miss all those times i spent with my parents and siblings.Nothing can replace those moments. The small little petty tiffs and the times when we just laugh at ourselves or each other cuz of the silly things we do.
Next year this time i'll probably be in my own place cleaning my own home and reminiscing of the good old times.Time really flies...It was juts like yesterday when we celebrated Diwali and before that can be digested, Diwali 2006 is here knocking at our doors.I'll miss all these times but hey now everyone will have to add a new home in their agenda for the Diwali roundings...
